Mental Health Awareness "First Line of Defence"

Course description

This course comes with a CPD certificate and is delivered and presented by our qualified mental health instructor and is part of the foundation to provide learners with an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge surrounding mental health, mental health awareness and mental health first aid. In this Mental Health Awareness course, "First Line of Defence", we aim to increase your understanding of common mental health conditions as well as your own and others mental health triggers. Including how or when they may occur, the signs to look out for and what you can do about it. This course is aimed at any employees or managers: this training helps employees identify, understand and support someone struggling with their mental health. The goal is for staff to have the knowledge, resources, and confidence to act appropriately. A recent study has found that employees with access to mental health training in their workplaces have an overall improved understanding of mental health. They actively work to help prevent mental health issues in the people they manage or work with. This course has been written with no specific workplace or profession in mind and includes information on the responsibilities and duties of all employers concerning mental health.
