Course description
This one day Elementary Food Hygiene course has been designed to address the food safety and hygiene needs of the catering, manufacturing and retail sectors. Designed for anyone working in an environment where food is prepared cooked and handled. The training covers the following topics: • Food safety & hygiene hazards • Bacteria and their characteristics • Food poisoning / prevention • Food handling • Food premises and equipment A multiple choice examination has to be achieved to obtain each award in this opportunity. Entry requirements There are no formal entry requirements. Tutor support is available through discussion and interaction throughout training but not for examination. An online multiple choice examination has to be achieved to obtain the award.
