Recognition of vital signs and being able to carry out an effective assessment for illnesses such as burns, sudden poisoning, heart attacks and stroke are a just a few of the areas that you will learn about. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to administer appropriate care and first aid, with an emphasis on life threatening conditions, illness, and injuries in higher risk environments, until emergency help arrives.
