PASMA Scaffolding Towers

Course description

This course will greatly enhance the employment prospects of anyone seeking to gain entry into the construction industry. This is a 1 day mobile scaffolding tower course, which covers low level and high level scaffolding towers. The course is accredited by PASMA (re-fabricated Access Supplier's and Manufacturers' Association) and aims to teach delegates how to erect and use a mobile scaffold tower safely and efficiently according to statutory requirements. The Work at Height Regulations 2005 require that the assembly, dismantling or alteration of Mobile Access Towers (Scaffold Towers) should only be undertaken by a competent person. The course covers: - Instructions on the various types and construction of scaffold towers. - How to erect, inspect and check that the tower is safe before use. - Fault detection and how to report any defects. - Care & Maintenance and how to dismantle and store. - Personal safety when working at heights. On completion of the course you will understand the requirements on how to erect a mobile scaffold tower properly.
