Manual Handling

Course description

This half-day course introduces candidates to the potential hazards & risks involved with lifting/moving/carrying a load, and outlines what to expect from a manual handling assessment. It will enable people to develop safer manual handling techniques when moving a load, based on the legal requirements of The Manual Handling Operations Regulations. Tutor support is available through discussion and interaction throughout training but not for examination. An online multiple choice examination has to be achieved to obtain the award.
