This comprehensive course covers skin anatomy and physiology, contraindications, history and benefits of microneedling, health and safety, infection control, treatable skin conditions, product and ingredient recommendations, skin healing stages, methods of microneedling, homecare and aftercare. Dermaplaning Course Content- This comprehensive diploma course will show candidates how to safely and skilfully use a surgical blade to exfoliate the skin, minimize imperfections, remove fine vellus hairs and increase product penetration. The controlled removal of stratum corneum skin cells using a surgical blade can dramatically improve skincare results and is a great addition to any treatment menu. There is currently a huge demand for dermaplaning and it’s fast becoming a more cost effective and safer alternative to microdermabrasion.
